MorphX


The development environment in Axapta is called The MorphX Development Suite or
just MorphX. MorphX is an integrated development environment which consists of the
Application Object Tree, the X++ programming language and several tools which
provide an overview of the application.

X++?


The programming language in AX is called X++, and its syntax is similar to Java
and C#. In addition to being an object-oriented programming (OOP) language, it
also includes embedded SQL.
The X++ syntax is not very strict as it is case insensitive.
